MOSCOW, Jun 15 (PRIME) -- Russian gas giant Gazprom posted a net loss of 306.23 billion rubles in January–March against a net profit of 199.47 billion rubles in the same period of 2019, as calculated under Russian Accounting Standards (RAS), the company said in a report on Monday.
Revenue decreased 22% to 1.126 trillion rubles, while cost of sales fell 7% to 676.35 billion rubles.
Gross profit went down 38% to 450.18 billion rubles, while sales profit dropped to 60.047 billion rubles.
Commercial expenditures fell 3.7% to 371.3 billion rubles, while management costs rose 12% to 18.831 billion rubles.
Long-term liabilities increased 17% in January–March to 2.9 trillion rubles as of March 31, while short-term liabilities fell 2.5% to 2.025 trillion rubles.
